Picture Framing Craftsperson — Tato Karlo

Tato Karlo / RAMKA.UA is a picture framing workshop based in Kyiv, operating since 2002. Hundreds of orders pass through our hands every day — frames, anti-frames, mounts, embroideries, canvases.
We're looking for a craftsperson — not just someone to fill a seat, but someone who genuinely knows the difference between a job done well and a job done quickly.
Steady hands, real experience, and respect for the craft? This position is for you.
What you'll be doing
- cutting moulding and assembling frames precisely
- working with plastic, wood and aluminium profiles
- operating a guillotine and corner joiner
- cutting and fitting glass and acrylic
- measuring, cutting and assembling mounts (passepartout)
- stretching embroideries, posters and canvases
- quality control: corners, geometry, cleanliness
- preparing completed orders for collection or shipping
Who we're looking for
- at least 1 year of experience in picture framing
- sharp eye and steady hands
- neatness as a habit, not an exception
- a sense of ownership over your work
- spots defects before they reach the customer
- keeps a tidy workstation — without being asked
What matters to us
- precision in cutting — a millimetre makes a difference
- clean joins and correct geometry in every finished piece
- careful handling of glass, acrylic, mounts and stretcher bars
- taking responsibility for an order from start to finish
- treating materials and equipment with care
