Inner visible size is ~400×500 mm. Works for 40×50 cm posters without a mat, or smaller artwork (e.g., 30×40 cm) with a mat board.

Do I need a mat for 40×50 and how wide should it be?

A mat isn’t required but improves presentation and spacing from the glazing. Popular setup: 300×400 mm artwork with ~50 mm borders.

Which material is best: wood, aluminum, or plastic?

Wood offers warmth and rigidity; aluminum is sleek and strong with lower weight; plastic is budget-friendly and light, but less rigid.

Which glazing to choose: clear, anti-glare, or acrylic?

Clear gives maximum sharpness; anti-glare cuts reflections with a softer look; acrylic is light and safe — great for kids’ rooms and large walls.

Can a 40×50 frame be hung both portrait and landscape?
