Antiframe A4 — a no-moulding frame for the most popular format

An antiframe A4 is a no-moulding frame designed for standard 21x29.7 cm sheets. The image is held between a transparent front panel and an MDF backing using metal clips, without any decorative profile around the perimeter. On the wall, only the glass and the image itself are visible. A4 is the most common paper standard, so frameless frames of this size are widely used for photographs, certificates, diplomas, office materials, menus, and small posters.

Advantages of an antiframe

The contents can be easily replaced without tools — simply remove the clips, insert a new sheet, and secure it again. This makes A4 antiframes especially popular in offices, cafés, medical offices, and schools, where information or décor is regularly updated.

It prevents the photograph from touching the glass, creates a clean border around the image, and visually enhances the presentation. For the A4 format, a mat board is especially useful when the image is smaller than the frame — for example, 13×18 cm or 15×21 cm photos.
